Le fait que la langue anglaise fonctionne sur une chronologie binaire (pass\u00e9 et non pass\u00e9) ne l\u2019emp\u00eache pas de pouvoir exprimer des subtilit\u00e9s sur le futur. Je cite ici une amie du bridge, Judy, professeur d\u2019anglais, \u00e0 qui j\u2019ai envoy\u00e9 les trois premiers articles. Voici ses pertinentes remarques\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">The distinction between \u00a0\u00ab\u00a0will \u00a0\u00bb\u00a0and its phrasal component \u00ab\u00a0going to\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0offer two distinct futures.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\">\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><strong>Will<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"> is used for an instant decision, a promise or a prediction while <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><strong>going to<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"> refers to a planned action in the future.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\">\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">Example:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\">\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">A father comes home and sees his son&rsquo;s bike with a flat. Looking at his son, he states\u00a0\u00bb I&rsquo;ll fix it tonight\u00a0\u00bb \u00a0a promise.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">When his wife walks in and sees the flat her husband will then use :\u00a0\u00bb yeah I&rsquo;m \u00a0going to fix it tonight\u00a0\u00bb a planned event.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\">\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">As well, there are two other instances of the future used in the English language.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\">\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">The \u00a0present continuous \/progressive. This is used to state a fact in the future such as\u00a0\u00bb I&rsquo;m playing bridge on Saturday\u00a0\u00bb.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\">\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">As well, when we are speaking about schedules, the simple present will be used in this way: : \u201cMy flight leaves at ten on Sunday\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\">\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">&#8212;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">Concluons maintenant sur la langue fran\u00e7aise et la zone politique. Il m\u2019apparait que la langue fran\u00e7aise, par l\u2019importance de la langue comme objet de pens\u00e9e li\u00e9 \u00e0 la perception du r\u00e9el, utilise la langue comme spectacle (versus l\u2019anglais, o\u00f9 la langue constitue d\u2019abord un instrument). J\u2019ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait allusion \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re diff\u00e9rente dont les quiz sont men\u00e9s dans les deux langues. Plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, m\u00eame dans des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s t\u00e9l\u00e9visuelles aussi objectives que les nouvelles, je per\u00e7ois une mise en spectacle langagi\u00e8re. Comme si la langue poss\u00e9dait une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e0 ce point p\u00e9n\u00e9trante qu\u2019elle forme une esp\u00e8ce d\u2019alliance sacr\u00e9e, \u00ab\u00a0po\u00e9tique\u00a0\u00bb avec le sujet trait\u00e9. Il y a de l\u00e9g\u00e8res traces de ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne dans les postes francophones canadiens.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-CA\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">\n<p lang=\"en-CA\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\">Mais le fran\u00e7ais de France parle une langue qui fait plus facilement que l\u2019anglais \u00e9cran \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Une langue plus proche du r\u00eave que de la concr\u00e9tude.
